JP (Jo-Anne) McLean is a bestselling author of urban fantasy and supernatural thrillers. She is an Eric Hoffer and Global Book Award winner and was a finalist in the Wishing Shelf Book Awards, the Chanticleer International Book Awards, and the Independent Author Network Awards. She is a B.R.A.G. medallion honoree and three-time Literary Titan award winner. Reviewers call her books addictive, smart, and fun.

JP is the author of the Dark Dreams novels, the Gift Legacy series, Crimson Frost (A Supernatural Noel), and several short stories. Her writing has been described as “deftly crafted, impressively original, and inherently compelling from first page to last.”

Raised in Toronto, Ontario, JP has lived in various parts of North America, from Mexico and Arizona to Alberta and Ontario. She now lives with her husband on Denman Island, which is nestled between the coast of British Columbia and Vancouver Island.

JP holds a degree in commerce from the University of British Columbia, is a certified scuba diver, an avid gardener, and a voracious reader. She had a successful career in human resources before turning her attention to writing.
